Basic Information

SERVICE PLEDGE

We, the Officials and Employees of TALAVERA WATER DISTRICT, commit to provide and efficiently serve you with reliable and adequate supply of potable of water.

Our employees wear their ID and drive our official company issued vehicles.

Our employees drive their official company issued vehicles with red plates except for the personal transporter
They will always wear a photo ID badge with the TWD logo in plain view
Our employees will never request or collect payment at your home

HOW TO READ YOUR METER

Most of the residential water meters of TWD are located in outside the perimeter near entrance and accessible to our Meter Readers and Maintenance Men. Follow these steps to read your meter:

Lift the meter cap to uncover the lens.
Face the meter so that the number bar is at top
Write down the numbers. Reading only the black numbers from left to right.
Subtract this from your last reading to get your current consumption.

BILLING SCHEDULE

WATER BILL INFORMATION

Pay your Bill on or before the 18th day of Date Billed. The 18th day is reflected as the Due Date indicated on your Water Bill under READING INFO.
Your Water Bill will have a one percent (1%) penalty charge if not paid before due date ends.
Non-payment after the 35th day from the Date Billed will cause for disconnection of your water service connection. The Date Billed counts as the first day and the Disconnection Date is the 35th day.
You may opt to pay the Disconnection Fee to avoid cancellation of water service.
If payment is made by Cheque, please make payment payable to Talavera Water District.
Reconnection Fee and Cost of Materials (if there’s any) must be paid before reconnection of disconnected service connection.

Contract Provision

The Talavera Water District agrees to furnish water service to the premises occupied by the Concessionaire that the Concessionaire hereby agrees to pay on a regular basis said water service based on rate schedule which may be modified, altered, and/ or increased by a Resolution of the Board of Directors of subject to review and approval by the Local Water Utilities Administration.
All existing service connection of the Concessionaires lawfully acquired and operated by him under an authority from Talavera, Nueva Ecija Government that has turned over all its assets to the Talavera Water District shall be respected by the same and shall henceforth be subjected to the stipulation of this Contract Regulations of the Talavera Water District.
The Concessionaire hereby agrees to pay his water bil the first eighteen (18) days after each monthly reading of his water meter upon issuance of billing notice. A corresponding surcharge will be imposed on overdue bills after the 18th 35th day of non-payment.
The service connection applies only to the premises, building or establishment mentioned on this application. Concessionaire shall be held liable for two or more sub under this application. Our policy is one water meter for eve application.
The Talavera Water District reserves the right to reclassify the classification of customers account without due notification to the Concessionaire.
The service connection shall be done only by the authorized personnel of the Talavera Water District upon approval and release of the corresponding job order and upon the payment of pertinent fees by the Concessionaire.
The Talavera Water District reserves the right to determine the size of the service connections and their locations with respect to the boundaries of the premises to be served. The laying of the Concessionaire service lateral to the meter shall not be done until the location of the service connection has been approved by the Talavera Water District or its duly authorized representative.
The work of tapping the main connection to the service pipe thereto and laying the pipe from the main to curb line including the digging and filling in of the trench of the street in which a water main is located, will be performed by the employees of the Talavera Water District at the rate set forth by the Board of Directors of the Talavera Water District.
The water meters, valves, curb cocks, meter boxes, locks, seals and other appurtenances connected to the District shall be under the cont of the District. The Concessionaire shall be held liable and responsible for tampering, interference with and damage to these materials and shall be subjected to penalties prescribed in the utility rules of the Talavera Water District. The cost of repairs/ replacement of materials in case of loss shall be to the account of the Concessionaire.
The Concessionaire shall furnish all necessary pipes, appurtenances and materials necessary for the inner connection.
Payments or charges for the damaged road pavement in connection with the tapping of service connection shall be assumed by the Concessionaire who shall pay the required amount to the owner of the lot.
The Concessionaire shall allow, consent, and/ or authorize the investigator, meter reader, or any official of the water district to enter to the premises, establishment, or building where the water pipe installation is located for the purpose of performing the duties of such personnel as prescribed in the policies and procedures of the Talavera Water District or pursuant to the Rules and Regulations that may be hereinafter promulgated without holding such employees or officials liable to trespass into herein stated premises, building or establishment.
If by any reason the authorized representative of the water district is prevented from entering the Concessionaire’s premises to perform any of the works enumerated in Paragraphs VII and XII of this Contract, the Talavera Water District reserves the right to disconnect the service from the mains and all expenses for said connection shall be reimbursed by the Concessionaire before reconnection of the service.
The Talavera Water District reserves the right to shut off the water supply whenever necessary and no action for damages shall be imposed to the Water District. Whenever practicable, the Water District shall notify stoppage of water services or the reduction of water pressure in any area.
The Concessionaire will abide with all the Rules and Regulations governing the use and conservation of water.
The house or building owner agrees to pay the Water Bill of his tenant/lessee in case of the latter's delinquency or non-payment.
The Talavera Water District reserves the right to disconnect the existing service lines for the following reasons:
- for the prevention of fraudulent use of water
- for non-payment of water bills
- for repairs
- for violation of any of the terms of this contract
- for cases beyond control
The service connection shall be in the name of a natural person or judicial entry.
The Concessionaire finally agrees to observe the Rules and Regulations laid down by the Talavera Water District that are basic and above the Contract, for an effective water service. Said rules are subject to revision by the Talavera Water District.
This Contract shall not be binding upon the Talavera Water District unless it is signed by the Concessionaire and/or property owner and/or tenant and/or occupant and/or representative and duly accepted by the General Manager or the authorized officer of Talavera Water District.
